What Can I Do?

If you agree with our call for Ofcom to advertise a medium wave licence to cover the south east of the UK once a frequency has been found, then you need to let them know.

We would suggest that phoning them is not the best way to show your support, either write a letter or e-mail them explaining that you support Radio Caroline’s campaign. Something along the lines of:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I wish to register my support for Radio Caroline to be allowed a licence to broadcast on medium wave to the south east of the UK.

I understand that for this to happen a frequency will have to be found, followed by Ofcom taking the decision to advertise that frequency for use by interested parties. I urge Ofcom to do all it can to find a frequency and then offer it for use in the south east so that Radio Caroline can apply.

Yours sincerely,

This is just an example, obviously you will need to write what you feel is best but we would ask that you keep it polite and to the point, Ofcom is a very busy place and all they need to see is the level of support.

Ofcom is at Riverside House, 2a Southwark Bridge Road, London SE1 9HA. Or email Lawrie Hallett at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
